We have a professional technical research and development team, with 16 people with bachelor degree or above, 5 senior engineers and 2 university professors.

Department of Jianjie

The R&D centre was established in 2008, adopting university-enterprise cooperation mode, and working closely with Cai Jiwei of Henan University and Dr. Aitber Bizhanov of Russia and his scientific research team for a long time, to provide technical guarantee for continuously optimizing the production of the products and improving the quality of the products, as well as to provide customers with more accurate customized product services.

Over the years, the R&D Centre has been making breakthroughs and innovations, and has conducted a lot of researches and made breakthroughs in the fields of steel mill dust, iron oxide, iron containing sludge, steel slag, iron ore powder, other mineral powder, coke powder, coal powder, phosphate rock powder, red mud, etc. The company has now applied for 17 patented technologies and has obtained 13 authorised patents, among which it has obtained 1 national invention patent and 12 utility model patents, which have successfully assisted JIANJIE to occupy a position in the binder market. Dr. Cai

He is a doctor of engineering in materials science and a postgraduate supervisor. He is currently the director of the Recycling and Functional Building Materials Laboratory of Henan University, the director of the National Colleges and Universities Building Materials Discipline Research Association, a member of the Cement Products Technical Committee of the China Society for Testing and Materials (CSTM), an expert member of the Solid Waste Branch of the China Institute of Silicates, a member of the High Performance Concrete Committee, a member of the Concrete Quality Committee of the China Society of Civil Engineers, a member of the Special Committee on Chemically Stimulated Coagulation Materials and Special Committee on Bulk Concrete Application Technology of the China Society of Architecture and Building Materials. He is also a member of the Specialised Committee of Building Materials of the Architectural Society of China, a member of the Specialised Committee of Mass Concrete Application Technology, an expert member of the Recycled Aggregate Branch of China Sand and Gravel Association, and an expert member of China Solid Waste Resources Recycling Industry and Technology Innovation Union.

He is mainly engaged in the research of high-performance structural materials, building functional materials and resource utilisation of solid waste building materials. He has participated in one project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, presided over and participated in seven provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, and won one second prize of Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress. He has published 45 academic papers, including 18 papers in three major indexes and 6 papers in Chinese core journals.

Representative research results are: (1) the effect of stone powder on the performance of mechanism sand concrete and mechanism research, (2) iron tailing sand concrete performance research, (3) cement straw flame retardant thermal insulation material development, (4) the use of the Yellow River alluvial sand preparation autoclaved lightweight concrete research, (5) steel slag cementitious activity of the thermal state of excitation and application of the research, (6) long quartzite type of tailings activation and application of the research, (7) freshly mixed concrete water secretion law and control study, (8) Technical study on the preparation of recycled no-fire antique bricks using construction waste and extra fine sand, (9) Stability study of magnetite in iron tailing sand in concrete, (10) Activation mechanism of crystalline silica oxide and hydrothermal reaction products study, (11) AFt method and supersulphuric solubilisation to improve water resistance of gypsum materials, (12) Alkali slag used for the preparation of Alignite White Cement Study.

Dr Atiber Bizhanov

D. degree from the Russian State Technical University, working both at the Association of Iron and Steel Technology (AIST) and the Institute of Briquetting and Agglomeration (IBA).

Dr Bizhanov holds a number of patents in the field of developing new metallurgical technologies. These include ferrous metallurgy briquetting of natural and man-made iron-containing materials based on vibration and extrusion, purification of oily mill scale by means of a strong magnetic field, and extraction of iron and zinc from metallurgical sludge by means of a vortex bed device in the presence of a strong magnetic field. In addition, Dr Bizhanov has co-authored several publications, such as "Modern Technologies of Ferrous Metallurgical Briquetting" with Sergey Zturov, "Agglomeration in Metallurgy" with Valentina Chizhikova, and "Agglomeration in Metallurgy" with Ivan Kurkov. "with Valentina Chizhikova and "Rigid Extruded Briquettes in Metallurgy" with Ivan Kurunov, as well as more than 60 papers focusing on various aspects of this field. His scientific achievements have led to the recognition of briquettes as a possible alternative to the currently dominant and environmentally harmful sintering technology.

Dr Bizhanov is committed to advancing technology in the metals industry, and as a scientist specialising in minerals and metals, he has developed processes for utilising metallurgical waste through briquetting. He also spent two years as a waste oxide processing specialist at Harsco Metals & Minerals. Prior to that, Dr Bizhanov gained valuable expertise as Commercial Director at Kosaya Gora Iron Works from 2004 to 2006 and as Commercial Director of the Russian Metallurgical Sector from 1992 to 2009.

He has published 2 academic papers (one each in SCI and EI) and applied for 4 invention patents.

Currently, he is working as a material research and development engineer in Henan Jianjie Industry Co., Ltd, engaging in the development of no-drying binder and red mud modification research.

Zhang Yanzhao

Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and Processing, graduated from Three Gorges University. During her school years, she had short-term internships in Hubei Sanning Chemical Industry Co. After graduation, she worked in China Railway 17 Bureau Group Materials Co., Ltd. as a member of production department of production technology department, responsible for on-site command production and conformity testing of concrete admixtures in the factory. Afterwards, he entered Henan Jianjie as an assistant material R&D engineer, and participated in the R&D of a series of binders such as dust ash, iron oxide skin, iron ore powder, phosphorus ore powder, steel slag, etc. He was mainly responsible for the adjustment of product experimental scheme of cold-pressed pellet and disc pelleting experiments.
